A new indoor pickleball destination has officially opened its doors in Dieppe, bringing a major recreational and economic investment to the region.
Rally House Pickleball, located at 102 Englehart Street, celebrated its official opening on September 28 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by company representatives, community leaders and partners. The project was supported by Expansion Dieppe, which worked with the ownership group during the land acquisition process and establishment of the business in Dieppe.
The new facility represents a $7.5 million investment and was developed by co-owners Jérémie Bourque and Sean Broderick. The project has created 15 local jobs.
Spanning 28,000 square feet, Rally House Pickleball features 10 professional-level indoor courts and offers a range of amenities beyond competition and recreation. Visitors can access a gym, pro shop, sauna, cold bath, catering services and event space. The facility also plans to offer free play sessions, lessons and workshops for players of all skill levels.
With its professional-calibre setup, Rally House Pickleball aims to become a premier pickleball destination in Atlantic Canada and is expected to host major tournaments, including national-level competitions.
“Our goal is to create much more than a place to play pickleball,” said Bourque. “We want to build a true community: a welcoming place where people can move, challenge themselves, recharge their batteries and connect.”
Expansion Dieppe Executive Director Jean Goguen said the project demonstrates the city’s ability to attract innovative developments that serve both local residents and the broader region.
“The opening of Rally House Pickleball illustrates Dieppe’s ability to host innovative projects that meet the needs of our community and region,” said Goguen. “Expansion Dieppe is pleased to have supported the team in the realization of this project, which enriches both our leisure offer and our commercial landscape.”
Expansion Dieppe has spent more than 50 years supporting economic growth in the city by assisting business owners and developers with site selection, market information and investment opportunities. Officials say projects like Rally House Pickleball help strengthen Dieppe’s recreational offerings while contributing to the city’s continued economic development.
