The opening game of the New Brunswick high school football season belonged to the Saint John Greyhounds. The Greyhounds rolled into Kennebecasis Valley Blue Knights territory Thursday night and came away with a convincing 41-7 victory at Usher Miller.
With Week 1 just underway, it’s too early to draw major conclusions, but a 34-point road win immediately puts the Greyhounds on the radar as one of the teams to watch in the Southwest division. Meanwhile, KV will look to regroup before its Week 2 matchup with the Fredericton Black Kats.
