New Brunswick Covid-19 Update for Wednesday, April 8th
There are three new cases of Covid-19 in the province today. Two are people aged 60-69 in the Fredericton region and the other is a person aged 80-89 in the Acadie-Bathurst region. Total: 108 / Active: 58 / Recovered: 50!
Dr. Russell reminds us that even though it’s a holiday weekend we shouldn’t be getting together for church services in person, don’t have a big family dinner, please don’t get together! Pick up the phone and call each other, call a neighbor and check on them, reach out to a neighbor in need. Show compassion (at a safe distance) to your friends and neighbors!
Premier Higgs echos Dr. Russell’s sentiments about staying home for Easter, reminds us he’s not having Easter dinner with his 99 year old mom…unfortunately the rest of us have to follow his lead. Knows there are ATV rallies, river runs, and many other things planned for this time of year…urges us to avoid that stuff for now so when the the weather is really nice in a few months we can really get out there and enjoy it!
