The 8th edition of A Beacon in the Night returns to the Capitol Theatre on October 26th. This unifying show is a celebration of mental health recovery. Since 2013, a team of volunteers has been busy putting on this large-scale show. The vast majority of the artists performing on stage are people who have at some point had to overcome mental health problems themselves. This celebration is living proof that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This year, around forty local artists and musicians will share the Capitol's main stage for a total of 24 musical numbers.
