The Beaubassin-est Rural Community has made an agreement with Grand-Barachois Valufoods to reduce the cost of the home delivery service offered by the store. This service makes it possible to limit contacts between people, in particular for people who must follow the instructions of self-isolation due to a return from travel outside the province, and thus limit the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
The Council wants to offer an affordable service to help people in self-isolation get essential items without leaving the house. “We greatly appreciate that a Beaubassin-est entrepreneur has developed this delivery service and we want to do our part to make it accessible to all our residents,” said the mayor, Ronnie Duguay.
The Grand-Barachois Valufoods store offers a home delivery service to all citizens of Beaubassin-est (Boudreau-Ouest, Grand-Barachois, Haute-Aboujagane, Cormier-Village, Saint-André-LeBlanc, Portage, Shemogue, Trois- Ruisseaux and Petit-Cap). To take advantage of this, you must send your order to the email address gbvfdelivery@gmail.com by placing “order for delivery” in the subject line.
Add your order with the name of the product you are looking for with the quantity you wish to buy, and add your name, address and telephone number. Payment must be made prior to delivery by credit card over the phone or by e-transfer. There is a delivery charge of $ 3.50 for every order. Once payment is confirmed, your order will be prepared for delivery and will be sent to you as soon as possible. Orders received after 5 p.m. will be delivered the following day.
