The Saint John Police Force is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man and is expressing concern for his well-being.

Morton Doughty, 37, was last seen on September 13, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m. in the area of Waterloo Street in Saint John.

Police say they have followed up on a number of leads since he was reported missing, but have not yet been able to locate him.

Doughty is described as being approximately 5-foot-7, with blue eyes, and auburn hair and beard. When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue plaid work jacket, a baseball cap, and was carrying a black backpack.

Investigators say they are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may have seen him or knows where he might be to come forward.

Anyone with information on Morton Doughty’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333.
