Wildcats Add NHL Draft-Eligible Forward Noah Survilas
The Moncton Wildcats are adding another promising young piece to their roster, announcing that forward Noah Survilas has signed with the club ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Selected by the Wildcats in the fifth round of the 2025 QMJHL Entry Draft, Survilas now officially joins the reigning QMJHL regular-season champions after spending the past three seasons developing at Dexter Southfield School in Massachusetts.
The talented forward put together an impressive prep school career, recording 108 points (47 goals, 61 assists) in 89 games, establishing himself as one of the more productive offensive players in New England prep hockey.
Wildcats fans may already recognize Survilas’ name. The young forward got an early taste of QMJHL action during the 2025-26 season, appearing in two games with Moncton and picking up one assist.
Now, he’ll have an opportunity to earn a larger role with the club as training camp approaches.
What makes Survilas particularly intriguing is that he will be eligible for the 2027 NHL Entry Draft, meaning scouts will be keeping a close eye on his development over the next season. His combination of offensive production and experience against strong prep-school competition gives the Wildcats another young player with significant upside.
For a Moncton team looking to build on last season’s success, adding a player who already has familiarity with the organization could prove valuable. Survilas knows the Wildcats’ environment, has already worn the jersey in game action, and now gets the chance to compete for a full-time spot.
With training camp just around the corner, he’ll be one of the names fans will be watching closely during the Red vs. White games and pre-season schedule.
The Bottom Line
The Wildcats are welcoming back a familiar face in Noah Survilas. After producing more than 100 points during his prep school career and getting his first taste of QMJHL action last season, the NHL draft-eligible forward now has an opportunity to take the next step in Moncton. For a team already loaded with talent, Survilas adds another exciting young prospect to the mix.
Welcome back to Moncton, Noah. 🏒🐾
