
The Harrison Trimble Trojans girls hockey team pulled off a comeback victory over L’Odyssee on the strength of a three point night from Jaidyn Poirier. The first period saw Alexandra Cormier open the scoring for ODY off an assist from Josee Richard about half-way into the first period. Not two minutes later, HTHS tied it up on Sarah Walton’s second goal of the season, with assists from Jaidyn Poirier and Doersam Presley. Odyssee’s Alexandra Cormier once again put ODY out in front with her second goal of the night assisted once again by Josee Richard and Sophie McKenna. Jaidyn Poirier of HTHS got her second assist of the night as Brianna Bulmer tied the game once more at 6:34 of the second period. Harrison Trimble finally took the lead in the 3rd period on a goal by Alexis Farrah, assisted by Molly McDonald and Lila Martin. With only 3:24 remaining in the 3rd period, Isabella Caissie tied it up once more sending the game into overtime. No goals were scored in OT leaving the decision up to a shootout. Jaidyn Poirier scored the only goal in the shootout leading her team to a victory and a 2-1 record on the season.
