Moncton’s 506 Shamrocks U14 Basketball team swept their opening weekend games in impressive fashion as the team looks to push into a new division this year. The 506 Shamrocks are made up of the best U14 players training in the 506 Elevate program combined with players who were unsuccessful in landing a spot on an 506 “Elite” team. The Shamrocks choose to forgo the “elite” branding as the program focuses on skill development and helping players make it to the next level.
The 506 Shamrocks defeated RMBA “B”, YFC Elite and MBA Hawks. This coming weekend the 506 Shamrocks will face the “A” squad from Riverview Minor Basketball, and the “B” squad from Miramichi River Hoops Sunday November 12th at Lou McNarin School in Dieppe.
