
The Town Shediac has announced a number of local measures in response to the covid-19 outbreak. Among other things, the town is closing access to public buildings and extending the due date for water bills collected by the town.

Everyone has a role to play in reducing the impact of COVID-19 and this is why the Town of Shediac would like to inform its citizens of the following measures that have been taken to ensure the municipality’s essential services continue to be provided despite the pandemic spreading around the globe.
SITUATION SURROUNDING ACCESS TO MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURES Starting on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, municipal infrastructures (arena, public library, Multipurpose Centre, Municipal Operations Centre, fire station and Town Hall) are closed to the public until further notice. For information, please contact the Town by telephone at (506) 532- 7000. The Town will extend by one month the payment due date for water bills, i.e. from March 31, 2020 to April 30, 2020. Rebates will be honoured and no interest will be charged. The Town will regularly inform the citizens of the town of Shediac on any changes affecting access to municipal infrastructures via its website and Facebook page. We therefore invite the public to visit the Town’s website and Facebook page to stay informed about any changes.
